Report from Radio France :
“The inclusion for the first time in the radio symphony orchestra’s program of a work by Edward Michael prompted a brief presentation. This sincere, lively work exhibits charm through the freshness of its inspiration and a happy blend of archaism and modernism; the style is simple, direct, and original, without excess (DF); extremely fine colors of orchestration. The choirs are well arranged, with a good tessitura. The Sanctus and Agnus Dei, lack nothing in grandeur, depth, or character, and comprise moments of authentic mysticism and communicative emotion. All of it is musical – very apt.”
